Investigative Associates and Consultants (IAC) is a full-service litigation support, investigative firm located in the central Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.

Founded in 1994, IAC specializes in conducting comprehensive pre-employment background investigations as well as a wide variety of other investigative services, including criminal, civil, and fraud investigations; internal and external surveillance investigations; statewide driving record and status; Fraud and Control Information System ; credit history search; National Sex Offender Registry; Office of Inspector General Exclusionary Database search; Office of Foreign Assets Control Sanctions List search; NC Health Care Personnel Registry search; professional license, education, and professional reference verifications; SAM Database - US Government Business Exclusions; E-Verify; fingerprinting services; National Rapsheet Database search; and occupational drug screenings.
